Our Privacy Policy is governed by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). To the extent that you are located outside of Australia we will protect your Personal Data as set out in this Privacy Policy.

‘Personal Information’ or ‘Personal Data’

means any information capable of identifying an individual. It does not include anonymised or de-identified data.

‘Sensitive Information’ or ‘Sensitive Data’

Also known as 'special categories' of data, Sensitive Information relates to an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of political associations, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, criminal record or health information, genetic or biometric data.

3. Teamgage Services, Applications and Platforms

3.1 Kinds of Personal Data we collect and the purposes for which we process it

User Data

User Data is provided to us by the Data Controller (our customer). It includes Personal Data such as names, email addresses, position and team information. As the Data Processor, we process this data to operate our website and our online services, to ensure relevant content is provided to you, to ensure the security of our website, to maintain back-ups of our website and/or databases, our business and any other online services that we may provide. Our lawful basis for processing User Data is our legitimate interests which in this case are to enable us to properly administer our website, our online services and our business.

Sensitive Data

We will not process Sensitive Information about you, unless the Data Controller confirms that they have your explicit consent.

Technical Data

Technical Data includes data about your use of our website and online services such as your IP address, your login data (if appropriate), details about your browser, time zone settings and other technology on the devices you use to access our website. We may source this data from our analytics tracking system. We process this data to analyse your use of our website and other online services, to administer and protect our business and website. Our lawful basis for processing Technical Data is our legitimate interests, which in this case are to enable us to properly administer our website, our online services and our business.

These kinds of Personal Data are collected by your organisation/employer (you, your or Data Controller). We process that Personal Data in accordance with the Data Controller’s instructions, subject to our contract with them. As such we are considered the Data Processor.

We also collect your Teamgage user submission data from our services, applications and platforms which is anonymised information you provide directly to us.

3.3 How we hold these kinds of Personal Data and data security

We are committed to protecting your Personal Data. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to help protect the security of your Personal Data; however, please note that no system is ever completely secure. We have implemented various policies to guard against unauthorised access and unnecessary retention of Personal Data in our systems.

We may hold Personal Data in different ways, including in electronic form and/or in other mediums. While we have taken steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to protect the Personal Data we hold from misuse, interference and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, we cannot guarantee that such misuse, interference, loss, or unauthorised access, modification or disclosure will not occur.

We may also allow our employees to access your Personal Data where they have a business need to know such data. We require such employees to only process such data on our instructions and to keep it confidential.

4. Sales & Marketing Activities

We collect, hold and process Personal Data about our customers and potential customers, website, and other people who come into contact with us (you or your). We collect your Personal Data for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.
